Arabian Horse Breeders World Cup

The Arabian Horse Breeders Alliance (the “AHBA”) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the Arabian horse, and is, among other initiatives, creating and hosting a purebred Arabian Horse show, the “Arabian Breeders World Cup” , to be held annually in Las Vegas. The second annual event is scheduled for April 15-18, 2010. The goal of this event is to become one of the premier purebred Arabian horse shows in the world. With Las Vegas as the backdrop, the event will truly be an “International horse show” that will unite breeders worldwide. It will be a showcase for the natural beauty, nobility, excitement and unique characteristics of the Arabian horse breed and will provide a lively and entertaining experience for existing breeders and those new to Arabian horses.

All efforts of the AHBA will be concentrated on again making the Arabian Breeders World Cup an irresistible experience for the public. For everyone who loves horses this extravaganza will inspire emotion and be a spectacular show that makes audiences say, “I want an Arabian horse!” This will be accomplished by entertaining, exciting, and educating the public about the wonderful experience of Arabian horse ownership and doing all of this in one of the most exciting cities on earth – Las Vegas!

The Arabian Breeders World Cup is designed to be a prestigious horse show and a gala equine event like no other. It will feature a showcase competition for purebred breeding classes, including age divisions for mature stallions and mares, junior colts and fillies, as well as geldings. Breeding classes will be conducted and scored with the Arabian Breeders World Cup Scoring System, a comprehensive international system that awards points in six categories. The show will feature 6 international judges, representing the most qualified and experienced breeders and professionals from around the world, with the goal of achieving the highest possible standards of judging.

The Arabian Breeders World Cup will also offer a variety of performance classes to enhance and support the breeding classes and to educate the audience about the purebred Arabian horse. The performance classes will showcase the breed’s versatility, talent and character as well as add entertainment value for an audience that is not already familiar with the Arabian horse and its abilities.
